SCHOOL SHELTERS & SUN CANOPIES

Why not use your Travel Plan grant for these great school shelters for those who walk to school, for those who cycle to school we also offer bike or cycle shelters but probably most importantly we offer Sun Shelters and Sun Canopies in the form of Timber Sun Shelters or Shade Sails made from a special canvas. Great for reducing UV rays and heat, the correct type can prove a blessing in whatever climate you wish to shelter from. We produce amphitheatres and tiered seating, grandstands for school productions, School Shelters, Teenage Shelters, Clear Roofed Shelters, Sun Canopies and even Mobile Stores where those who are undecided can simply wheel them around to find the best location!!

Infant Roofed Shelter

The Infant Roofed Shelter is ideal for those sunny days when it's great to get outside and soak up the sun without being burnt.

The roof provides a shaded environment while still retaining a feeling of openness. 1.5m x 1.5m.

Small Roofed Shelter

The 'in-betweeny table' - smaller than a roofed table but bigger than the infant roofed shelter, this school shelter provides the younger ones with somewhere to sit and work or eat outside.

Roofed Table

This is an ever popular product. The main advantage with this design is that access is made easy by the absence of the cross bar found on 'H' and 'A' frame tables making it suitable for the very young, the elderly and those with special needs.

Rural Shelter

A superb alternative to those steel types and more suited to a rural environment. Extremely sturdy supports and benches with HDPE solid roofs and backs.

More segments can be added to form a larger shelter. A 3 segment shelter is shown here.

St Columb Shelter

A co-operative seating area which is also great for outdoor classrooms and break times and also for parents as a waiting shelter.

Sunray Pergola

The Sunray Pergola can have a decked floor if installed on grass or use the tarmac playground as floor if not. Provides a sun shelter and makes an ideal quiet area or outdoor teaching / drama area.

It seats approximately 30 children. 4m x 4m. Available with slatted sides if required (at extra cost).

Brighton Shelter

A lovely shaded seating area with a 4m x 5m floor and benches on 3 sides.

Selworthy Shelter

An attractive colourful school shelter, great for eating your packed lunch under, reading, storytelling or productions.

Shade Sails

A square shade sail sun canopy designed to block out 90 - 100% of UV rays and reduces temperature under the shade by up to 32%. They are resistant to rot, mildew and fading.

Shade sails aren't waterproof but the advantages of heat and UV reduction must outweigh this. Waterproof fabrics are available so please make your preferences clear when ordering. All colours and sizes available. This one is 6m x 6m.

A pergola that includes seating, and a decked area.

Ideal for eating your packed lunch, or just for sitting and chatting.

Breaktime Shelter

Designed for use as a shelter for pupils at break times or for parents whilst waiting to pick up their children. This sort of shelter can be of any reasonable size and design - please enquire.

An ideal all purpose sheltered seating area and with its tiered construction makes it ideal for viewing productions and matches.

Whale Shelter

We were asked by Somerset County Council to build a shelter in the form of a whale.

Whilst it might seem a strange request this goes to prove that nothing is impossible.

Atlantic Classroom

Purpose built outdoor classroom for teaching, drama and concerts. Seats on 3 sides, a decked floor and shingle roof, it provides that all important sun or rain protection.

6m x 4.5m. Outdoor classrooms can be supplied without the deck if needed.

Bike Shelter - The Denbury

The perfect item to encourage cycling and to use your travel plan grant. This multi use shelter includes a five cycle rack, coat helmet hooks, seats both inside and out and stands at 2m x 4.8m.

Felt roof is standard, other options are available.
